Description of Service
PlainSec provides a cybersecurity intelligence briefing. We aggregate, analyze, and summarize news from over 100 cybersecurity sources into a concise briefing, published on the web and delivered by email at 7:00, Monday to Friday.
User Accounts
You may create an account using email one-time code sign-in or Google sign-in via our authentication provider, Clerk. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account or Google account and for activity taken under your PlainSec account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems.
Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Service without prior written consent.
Redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit Service content without authorization.
Intellectual Property
The briefing content, editorial selections, summaries, and analysis produced by PlainSec are protected by copyright. Original news articles remain the property of their respective publishers. PlainSec's aggregation and analysis constitute original editorial work.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. PlainSec briefings are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional cybersecurity advice. Always verify critical security information through primary sources before taking action.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlainSec shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
