Free is the briefing. Pro is the briefing, tailored to you.
The daily briefing is free, forever. Pro answers one question every morning: does anything affect your stack? Then it shapes your email, your audio, and your AI tools around the answer.

Common questions
Is the free plan actually full-featured?
Yes. The editorial briefing, all stories, ranked, with action signals, email, and the full audio briefing, is free with no card and no expiry. The free plan is the complete core product. Pro adds personalization and the AI integration layer, not access to the briefing itself.
Do I need to create a free account before starting a Pro trial?
No. The Pro trial creates your account directly. You don't need a free account first. If you already have a free account, you can upgrade from your account settings at any time. Either path works.
What counts as “my stack”?
Any product, tool, or technology you're responsible for or interested in. Cisco, AWS, FortiGate, Kubernetes, specific frameworks. You can update your list any time. Your feed and stack view use the new list right away; the next briefing and audio are built with it.
How does the MCP integration work?
You connect PlainSec as an MCP server in your AI tool of choice: Claude, ChatGPT, or anything that supports the protocol. Once connected, your AI assistant can query today's briefing, filter by your stack, or search the archive. Setup takes about two minutes.
When does the briefing arrive?
Monday to Friday, at 7:00 your local time.
Why not have my AI agent do this itself?
You could. Your agent would spend every morning finding sources, crawling them, and de-duplicating what it finds, and it still would not know that twelve articles are one story. PlainSec answers in one call, in seconds, from a briefing that has already been read, explained, enriched, and ranked. Cheaper in tokens, faster every morning, and the same answer tomorrow without rebuilding anything.
