Malwarebytes found a $500 crypto scam kit sold by forum user xrep that bundles fake presale sites, victim tracking, wallet checks, and an admin panel into a ready-made fraud package. The setup is meant to let a buyer run a convincing crypto scam without building the website, backend, or trust signals from scratch.
The kit’s site uses fake eligibility checks, countdowns, inflated balances, and wallet prompts to make the offer look real. In plain terms, it manufactures legitimacy long enough to push victims into connecting a wallet or sending coins, which means the operator can collect funds or recovery phrases while the page shows a fake investment experience.
That matters for exchanges, wallets, fintechs, and employee-facing payment flows because the pattern is now packaged and repeatable. If your users are trained to trust dashboard-style balance checks or wallet verification prompts, this lowers the skill needed to exploit that trust at scale.
