Stolen Files Create Risk Even When Operations Stay Up
The real exposure is the data that left, not whether Analog Devices kept running. A supplier can stay operational and still hand attackers material that fuels follow-on phishing, partner targeting, and leakage of internal documents or credentials.
Analog Devices said an unauthorized party accessed some systems and exfiltrated certain files, but its operations were not affected. That puts the focus on the stolen information itself, because even a limited file theft can spread risk beyond the initial intrusion to customers, partners, and vendors tied to the company.
