Black Kite tracked 684 publicly known ransomware attacks across Europe in the first four months of 2026, up 55% from 441 in the same period of 2025. The report says the market is shifting toward Europe and its vendor chains, which means supplier disruption and shared-data exposure now sit inside the threat picture for organizations that depend on European partners.
