A threat actor stole customer service ticket data from a third‑party support vendor used by Crunchyroll. The actor claims to have downloaded about eight million Zendesk tickets containing roughly 6.8 million unique email addresses and other user details. Crunchyroll says the data appears limited to support tickets and reports no evidence of ongoing access as investigations continue.
