CrowdStrike pairs AI testing with Falcon agent monitoring
CrowdStrike has signed agreements to acquire two AI-security firms, Fiddler AI and Dreadnode, adding agent observability and automated testing to its Falcon platform; the capabilities are targeted for general availability in Q4 FY27.
Fiddler’s planned Falcon Observe offering is meant to evaluate agents before launch and record their decisions and actions in production. Dreadnode will test models and agents with known attack techniques, then feed findings to Falcon Guardian as policy recommendations. That matters because an agent can use approved tools and valid credentials yet still make a harmful choice, such as approving a refund against policy; behavior records can help explain what happened when ordinary endpoint controls see only legitimate activity.
If integrated as described, teams could connect pre-launch test findings with agent behavior seen in production through CrowdStrike’s platform. Until the acquisitions close and the offerings arrive, Falcon customers cannot treat this announced lifecycle coverage as a control already available.
