PQC entra nei criteri di acquisto pubblici

CISA e il G7 Cyber Security Working Group hanno lanciato un call to action che sposta la post-quantum cryptography da tema di ricerca a agenda di pianificazione e procurement. Il punto non è il quantum threat immediato. Il punto è che governi e grandi acquirenti iniziano ora a decidere quali implementazioni diventeranno la base predefinita.

La call to action indica cinque priorità: aumentare la consapevolezza sui rischi quantistici, definire strategie nazionali, sostenere ricerca e sviluppo, creare partnership pubblico-private e integrare la PQC nei requisiti di cybersecurity e negli acquisti. In pratica, chi compra identità, VPN, PKI o comunicazioni sicure dovrà misurarsi con supporto PQC e percorsi di migrazione.

Per chi vende o acquista tecnologia pubblica, la conseguenza è di lungo periodo: le scelte fatte adesso possono fissare vincoli di interoperabilità e debito di upgrade per anni. La storia conta perché la standardizzazione di fatto si formerà prima che il problema quantistico sia urgente.
