NVIDIA ha presentato il 28 settembre l'Open Agent Safety Platform per imporre limiti agli agenti autonomi dall'esterno del loro runtime. La novità è lo spostamento del controllo: non è più l'agente a decidere da solo cosa può toccare, ma un livello di enforcement separato.
OpenShell isola l'esecuzione e applica policy su file, processi, rete, tool e credenziali. Sentry aggiunge un watchdog su NVIDIA BlueField-4 DPU che monitora da un dominio di fiducia separato e può quarantinare o fermare un agente in pochi millisecondi se oltrepassa i limiti consentiti.
Per chi distribuisce assistenti che leggono dati, chiamano API o usano credenziali, il punto è operativo: il contenimento passa all'infrastruttura, non alla disciplina dell'agente. NVIDIA dice che oltre 100 organizzazioni stanno lavorando con la piattaforma, segno che il tema è ormai di controllo runtime, non solo di policy del modello.
